An office is divided by teams. Each team is made up of 5-6 office members, all holding different roles in the company (manager, copywriter, designer, etc.) the designers on each of these teams have been assigned to make a unique crest, or coat of arms, that represents their unique teams.
In the world of office culture a coat of arms serves much the same purpose as they did five hundred years ago. For Team Rocket, the graphic will be used to represent a blended team of field-specific professionals in cubicles an open-concept workspace. The final designs will be implemented on various office-friendly merchandise; t-shirts, stickers, and reusable bags.
Team Rocket was created during Covid-19. This team was compiled of mainly remote or hybrid workers. They wanted their design to reflect this. Per their name, the team also wanted to embrace the literal imagery of space and rockets.
